Meet German Madrazo

German Madrazo brings an enormous amount of race experience and knowledge to Endurance Splits. He is an accomplished marathoner, triathlete, ultramarathoner and 10 time Ironman finisher.

German is the co-owner of Endurance Splits and owner of a successful specialty running store called, Valley Running Co. in McAllen, TX.

Meet Hector Gandara

Hector Gandara has a passion to see runners of all levels accomplish their running and fitness goals. While in college,

Hector was an NCAA Division I National Qualifier and All-American Athlete and has a 10k PR of 30:46 and a half marathon PR of 1:11.

He is an excellent coach, with the ability to provide guidance, instruction, motivation, and inspiration to all runners. For six years Hector was the Head Cross-Country Coach at Edinburg North High School.  Today, Hector has a successful running group called Running 101.Through Running 101 he provides running education to a broad group of runners, from beginners training for their first 5k to runners training for the marathon distance. Hector leads the Valley Running Co. Sharyland store and is the co-owner of Endurance Splits.

 

Meet Lucia Amieva

Lucy (co-owner) is known as the numbers person of the operation as she holds a degree in Mathematics and an MBA. Lucy shares a passion for running and is also the co-owner of Valley Running Co. She has actively been a part of the Valley Running Club and has competed in events such as 5k’s and duathlons.

Meet Sara Gandara

Sara (co-owner) brings a special influence to Endurance Splits. Sara has competed scholastically and collegiately for the University of Texas Pan American. She has personal records of 18:16 for the 5k, 39:18 for the 10k and 1:37 for the half marathon. SaraPicShe shares a passion for the road and for people. She actively coaches and trains runners with Running 101, a group that holds over 80 runners.
